There has been lot of written of Rohit not been selected for the Indian team for the world cup 2011. One thing was to be in mind is yes, its true he had a no so good couple of months. For last 61 ODIs he played, his batting average is around 28. He has two centuries and five fifties in his belt.

Still we all know he is a class act. He is a good blower who can roll over his arm and has a good head on this shoulder. Just that he had quite a lot of cricket for last few months. Other than it’s good for him to get a break. Rethink of his approach. Work hard on the Gym and get back to Indian team again.

Forks, it’s the only world cup he is going to miss and we all are sure that he will play quite a lot of world cup for sure. Might be, he will lead Indian team as well.

It was a fantastic night for Indian in Australia. Indian team beat world champion’s Australian Cricket team during their match against CB series best of first final. It was a superb innings from Tendulkar, his first hundred in Indian soil. Rohit Sharma provided and great support for Tendulkar.

Tendulkar scripted a magnificent unbeaten 117 and shared a 123-run fourth-wicket stand with Rohit Sharma to take India to an emphatic six-wicket win and a 1-0 lead in the CB Series finals.

Earlier of the day Indians ball well to restrict Austrians for formidable 239. Their fast ballers and slow ballers did a good job. Young Rohit Sharma and Indian team was sharp on the field. Latter of the day Indian openers did a good job to reach 50 for the first time in the series. Again we sow a disastrous running between wickets and at 3 for 87, the match was perfectly in the balance, before Tendulkar found the perfect ally in Rohit, and their stand turned out to be the match-defining one. Tomorrow Indian will be facing the Australia for the CB series best of final. Indian will be hands crossed and hoping to perform upset in the first game. On the other hand Australians were hurt by Sri Lankans during the last match. Australians were 108 for 1 but all out for 211. It was a pathetic batting performance by the Australians. Welll as Gulie told us during the press conference, they will come up with guns blazing. Indans will have to look out for this.

What Indian team has to do, generally they will have to bat well, ball well and field. Obviously they will have to be on top of their day in both of the three department in order to provide some uncomfortably for the Indian camp.

For Sharma, it is the "first 15 minutes" that he needs to get past. After that, it's about adaptation. "If you want to be known as a good player, adaptation is key," he said.

Rohit Sharma took a good catch to dismiss MJ Clarke during the commenwalth bank series 10 th match. Played at Sydney Cricket ground and ground was full with Indian fans. Austrailia took the early upper hand by hitting good boundaries early on. Good partnership from Hayden and Ponting took them to over 300 total. Ponting was superb and scored a centaury.

Rohit Sharma's turn and throw to remove Hayden with help from Sehwag was his only success part of this match. There was not much else to celebrate as Sreesanth went for 58 from eight overs Sharma gave up 65 in ten and Pathan allowed 73 in nine. Harbhajan and the part-timers Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh ball bit batter, but India have a huge task as they attempt to secure a spot in the finals.

Rohit Sharama is 20 year old Indian cricketer. He played for Indian under 17,19 teams and then selected to represent the Indian national cricket team. He played his first 20/20 game against Engalnad Durba, Sep 19,2008, unfortunately he couldn’t bat during this match as well, since his top order, Sachin and core played the game well.

In a super game of cricket India beat Australia in CB series. Even though Rohit ran out his captain in the previous game and got bit blame for that, this game he was sharp and well organized. He field brilliantly and instrumental in wining the match.

"We had a long batting line-up and Robin (Uthappa) and Harbhajan (Singh) were still to come. This gave us a lot of confidence when the going was tough," Rohit said after the five-wicket win.

Rohit Sharama currently average 32 in his 10 match of carrier and scored 2 fifties already. Will he be the next big cricketer in Indian? Well we have to wait for that. Hopefully young man will pull off this and stay for a long time.

During the recent CB series, Rohit Sharma is playing really well for India. He played a gem of a inning against Sri lanka and superb against Australia as well. His fielding as brought much needed oxygen to Indian cricket team as well.

His batting looks solid and he is confident in the middle. Played all around the ground and knows his limitation and strengths as well.

CB series 4^th Match, India vs. Australia, he played exceptionally well scored 39 from 61 balls. He stayed with his captain and make sure India wins a game against world champions. That was classic inning and he showed the world that he is good and he has the right technique to play international cricket.

Rewards are already there for Rohit, IPL is already after well-rounded players like Rohit Sharma to come up the ranks and he is one of the top, already.

Rohit Sharma is young, exciting and arguably the future of Indian cricket.

Rohit Gurunath Sharma (Born April 30, 1987, in Bansod, Nagpur, Maharashtra) is an Indian cricketer. Sharma is a right-handed middle-order batsman and occasional right-armed offbreak bowler. Coming through the ranks, having played under-17 and under-19 cricket for India, Sharma impressed in the under-19 junior World Cup in Sri Lanka. He has studied in the Swami Vivekanand International School, Mumbai and is currently a student of Rizvi College, also in Mumbai

The unbeaten 142 in 123 balls for West Zone against North Zone in the Deodhar Trophy in Udaipur in March 2006 brought him further into reckoning. Performances for the Indian A sides in Abu Dhabi and Australia followed leading to him being selected for the 30 member probables list for the Champions Trophy (though he didn't make the final squad) and the Challenger Trophy.

It was no surprise when Sharma made his mark in the recent EurAsia tournament with two half-centuries in three matches, including 62 against Pakistan A, where he batted in the middle order. He'd exuded class at No. 3 in the Under-19 World Cup - barring the final, when the entire Indian line-up was blown away by rampant Pakistan fast bowlers - and displayed the key quality for that position: adaptability. Sharma is equally happy in the role of accumulator or aggressor, depending on the game situation. He is also a more than useful offspinner - a skill he will no doubt be looking to hone so as to have a second string in his bow
